The single ticket price is still only £20. Admission for full-time students and under-18s is free of charge.
During the concert season (commencing in September) single concert tickets can be purchased from the Cathedral gift shop or from Carlisle Tourist Information Centre at the Old Town Hall (tel: 01228 598596). From September, Tickets may also be purchased online via TicketSource
( www.ticketsource.co.uk/carlisle-music-society - a small booking fee applies).
Please note that the number of seats is strictly limited, so to guarantee entry it is advisable to obtain tickets in advance. This also applies to under-18s and students, even though entry is free of charge. If the hall becomes full before the concert begins, it may not be possible to gain admission without having first obtained a ticket.

2026/27 Season Membership (NOTE: membership available only before the season starts)
Being a member of CMS* gives you access to all concerts at a discounted price. As a member of CMS you can attend all six concerts for £85 and you help promote living classical music in our area.
The great benefits of membership are as follows:

The great benefits of membership are as follows:
- membership represents a very substantial saving , compared to buying full-price tickets for single conerts
- it prioritises a seat for you at every concert (we are usually at capacity!)
- as a member you will receive an advance set of programme notes by email
- you can allow a friend to attend a CMS concert if you are unable to attend yourself
- discounted tickets for concerts presented by Cockermouth Music Society, Penrith Music Club, Music in Dumfries and Keswick Music Society
